After redoing my kitchen – ahem, twice, I was more than ready to move on to the second half of the room: the dining room and giving it the dining room makeover it desperately needed. It took four months because around here DIY doesn’t happen in a day, and included making over almost every square inch of the room. The only part left unscathed was the flooring that we installed less than a year ago, last November.
I could not be happier with how it turned out. It involved SO many projects but they have all proven to be worth every single fleck of dust (that may or may not have coated my whole kitchen at one point).
Here is where we started:
Can you believe the difference of the space? Don’t worry, I will dive into each project individually for you but I just had to get the reveal up for you to see. If you love the look of this room you’ll love what I did in our last house here.
I utilized My Chase Plan to make this space happen, a buy now, pay later option on the
Chase Freedom Unlimited card I already had in my wallet. This feature made the process a lot
less stressful knowing I could do what I needed to without the stress of a large upfront
cost or interest – only a fixed monthly fee! I was able to break down some of the more
expensive purchases (purchases $100 or more) for this project, like XYZ, into budget-friendly
predictable monthly payments, and still earned rewards as I normally would on my purchases!
You can read all about My Chase Plan here.
I was able to create a space for my family to comfortably enjoy this holiday season and all year round, all through one project at a time. I hope you love it as much as I do.
