From flipping furniture to full renovations, Kenna decided 11 years ago that if she wanted the design she loved, she would create it herself. Here to show you what happens in between the before and after photo so you can learn to create a space you love from top to bottom.
Working on my half bath has me thinking about other bathroom makes I’ve done. Built this vanity last year and mannnn it felt GOOD! Krazy Glue is my favorite, you’ve seen me use it before!! Bonds many surfaces (like wood!!!) and bonds in minutes — cures completely in 24 hours 😱
Using 3/4 inch plywood (I used white oak) cut down an 8×4 sheet.
Miter the edges, using a table saw at a 45° angle. (Check out this post for more tips on mitering.)
Using Krazy Glue Wood Glue, attach the edges together. Hold together with clamps.
Cut out a hole for the drain + faucet.
Sand the edges nice and smooth.
Stain the vanity. (I used white wash + provincial makes for the prettiest combo.)
Attach the brace to the wall on the two sides and along the back.
Place the vanity on top. The weight of the sink will hold the vanity in place. You can caulk around the edges of the vanity and the wall to finish it off.
